The Vertiv 40 kVA UPS is a high‑capacity, three‑phase online double‑conversion system engineered for mission‑critical infrastructure, such as data centers, telecom sites, and industrial facilities. It continuously isolates and regulates the output from disturbances in the incoming utility supply, delivering clean, stable power even during voltage sags, surges, or frequency shifts. Designed to support a unity power factor (1.0), it provides full utilization of its 40 kVA rating, with high efficiency (in many models up to mid‑90 % in double conversion mode and higher in ECO/standby modes) and minimal heat loss. The unit typically offers a wide input voltage window and supports inputs of 380/400/415 V (3‑phase), with output at the same three‑phase voltage. Battery runtimes are scalable through external VRLA or lithium‑ion battery banks, and hot‑swappable battery modules simplify maintenance. A built‑in maintenance bypass ensures continuity during servicing or module replacement. Communication and monitoring are supported via SNMP, Modbus, USB, and relay contacts through an IntelliSlot or network card, enabling remote diagnostics and graceful shutdowns.
